# La French Tech Brussels

> La French Tech Brussels (legal name: FrenchTech Brussels ASBL) is the official French Tech community in Brussels, labelled by the Mission French Tech for 2026-2028. Founded in 2016 and run by a volunteer board, it connects French and Belgian founders, investors and decision-makers in the heart of the European Union, and organises the French Tech Sovereignty Summit Brussels, an annual conference on European digital sovereignty.

## French Tech Sovereignty Summit Brussels

- Third edition: Thursday 28 January 2027, BNP Paribas Fortis (Chancellery auditorium), Brussels, during a week of events on European digital sovereignty, two days before FOSDEM. One-day conference followed by a networking reception. Registration opens in early November 2026, programme and speakers in early December

- 2024, "Towards European Digital Sovereignty? Challenges and Opportunities": Tuesday 28 May 2024, Flagey, Brussels, more than 400 participants (820 registered), with DG CONNECT, the Embassy of France in Belgium, La French Tech, Bpifrance, EISMEA and 20 startup pitches (winner: Cryptr)
