La French Tech Brussels is the official French Tech community in Brussels. The Mission French Tech labelled it for 2026-2028.
Since 2016, we connect French and Belgian founders, investors and decision-makers in the heart of the European Union.
Who we are
A volunteer board runs the community. Our legal entity is FrenchTech Brussels ASBL, a Belgian non-profit association (company number 0671.628.493). Our president is Samuel Profumo.
What we do
- digital sovereignty: we bring together companies, public authorities and experts on European technology choices
- the Franco-Belgian corridor: we help French and Belgian startups and investors work together
- women in tech: we give visibility to women who found and lead tech companies
Each year, more than 650 people take part in our events. About 3,500 people follow us on LinkedIn and about 1,500 read our newsletter.
French Tech Sovereignty Summit Brussels
We organise the French Tech Sovereignty Summit Brussels, an annual conference on European digital sovereignty. The 2024 edition took place at Flagey and the 2025 edition at Square Brussels. The third edition takes place on Thursday 28 January 2027 at BNP Paribas Fortis, Brussels. See the Summit.
The French Tech brand
“La French Tech” is a brand of the French State. The Mission French Tech awards the label to communities in France and abroad. The brand is never translated.
